Show Update #5- Sara Brown's Birthday Party
Band #1- Arrow Three
So Arrow three (i refer to the cardboard Reeses Pieces with in its hand a paper saying arrow three that i later got signed) and its members walked out on stage carrying instruments that they would use to create a splendid sound. So i expected the usual and instead i heard something much better. It seems the band finally has found its focus and was able to play as a whole. Their sound was amazing, maybe it was the open air, or the trees, but i'm still impressed. They did the usual covers in the middle of original songs, and the whole while i was wondering if they wrote all the songs. The lyrics seemed to fit, brians voice seemed to be trained to bring full quality to each syllable of each word, joe's guitar brought harmonies that were definitely amazing, and yapes played well on bass while charolette supplied the rhythm of each song. I really think this band should move along with sending out to labels, they're really going to make it big if they keep improving the way they've been doing so. Like everyone else i'll say they've improved so much since the last show i saw them at.
Band #2- the Never New Johnnies
Next was a jump on the trampoline while waiting for the Never New Johnnies to set up. As matt went into the mic to talk he zapped himself....hahaha, sorry matt, i just found it quite funny at first, especially since it was just a spark, not you getting electrocuted. So nnj started playing and we began to run around on the trampoline, i donno....it was cool. Um nnj was good as always. They had a couple lines involving my name which is quite cool. Hell i'm sure when they're on the radio people will be like...."huh, who's this marshall"....and then i'll be famous along with nnj, which is fine with me. Hmm its almost an obsession i guess, especially since i'm not really that obsessive over hot hot heat, i've only mentioned them twice in here and i mean like brian and joe like em too not to mention many other people. A couple times we got up and skanked like for cat. And no i was not skanking slowly around the outside like a "thumbalina", i was where ever, to the beat, fine skanking. I ran into a couple people, as many as any other kid, since it wasn't a mosh, just fun. I thinks its mostly the bad things that are noticed about me, just like at work.
Lets Review:
A great show i think. Both bands improved so much. I liked the stuff they had to play. And the trampoline was good too.
