Show Update #2- Wednesday Night at the Conduit

Well hmm how can i say this, well i'll be simple, THAT WAS THE BEST FREEKING SHOW I'VE EVER BEEN TO! EVER! Fuck, i've never had so much fun, it was even fun that their was other people....just being there and watching people jam, jam well! Oh man! Ok lets go into detail on all 3 bands

Band #1- Luzer
Ah well these, guys were awesome. They had a more country rock sound with one guy in a cowboy hat on lead guitar, a goofy big burly man with blond hair and a high voice on drums, a quiet character that looked like joey's dad on bass, and jack black on guitar and lead vocals. They were pretty good, you couldn't really do anything except nod your head very slow to their rhythms. They covered i think 2 bands i had no idea what they were but, hey a cover is a cover and i think they did it great. Their set got to be a little long, but its cool. I really like this band and i think i'ma go to their website.

Band #2- the Sidewalk Heroes
Very cool, right away it was off too hardcore punk good enough to mosh too. A couple times moshes broke out and me and joey pushed the people away, i even jumped in real quick. Then these big bald guys with more than beer guts walked up and were like "No more of that youngn's". For a second there i thought i was in a big club owned by the mafia. Then i returned to the Conduit in the middle of trenton, i had fun just headbanging. They had an awesome set where the guitarist and the bassist would switch places 20 times and then come back and sing. Good times, good times. Hey and they gave out free stuff too!

Band #3- the CryptKeeper Five
Well as they say, save the best for last, and man was CK5 rocking! They started off with the traditional "hey ya motherfuckers lets rock this joint" song or however it goes, whatever, right away i was sucked in...again. Man i was headbanging hardcore. Me, joey, eyelean, sarah, and christy, all went up front too the center of the stage. I was right below the lead singer and also the lead guitarist. Looking up, like oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, i'm watching Cryptkeeper 5!!! w00t! w00t! One thing i have to say is, i admire scotty, the lead guitarist, the whole time he looked drugged out with droopy eyes and a vacant look, yet he played freeking awesome. No, what i most admire is how he was able to stand there, play, have a cigarette in his mouth, sing with the cig in his mouth, at a moment when doesn't play...pick up a beer and drink it with the cig in his mouth, and yet still play a good show. It must take a lot of practice to have talent like that. Also i have to say the bassist is amazing, he's all over the place on the bass. And who can forget jimmy ray, a cool guy, i shook his hand at elks, and held a very good conversation with the guy. I was just standing around and he was like "Hey!", i was like oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, its jimmy ray, say something smart....say something smart, "Hello". And then we had a very good conversation about mosh pits, and guitars and stuff. Heh wow anyway back to this show. There were moshes all over, had to protect christy and sarah. Whoa. I got kicked in the shin by Mike from sidewalk heroes so i caught him in the gut with my elbow. Luckily he didn't really notice and kept going, since he's bigger than me.....Eh well standing front stage under johnny and scotty was cool. I was afraid ashes were going to fall on me though. Man they covered rancid and then even played born to run by bruce springsteen. OH MAN! BRUCE IS THE MAN, and they covered him....so good. What a great set though, great set.

Lets review:
All in all it was the most amazing show i've ever been too, i don't count U2 or Bruce because, well those were concerts. But oh man, oh man, oh man, oh shiznizzle. I had so much freeking fun. Hell i bought a shirt, cd, and sticker for 16 bucks. Not bad, not bad at all. And i mean i got so much second hand smoke i prolly have emphysema, yet it still was worth it. I came home smelling like smoke, deaf in one ear, tired as hell, and still stuck in the moment of having a great time. Well good stuff, good stuff
